Congrats to our October Athlete of the month, Glenn Creel!!! I have known Glenn for 20 years or so and had the pleasure of playing high school football against him. A few years later, I bumped into him at a CrossFit competition we went to watch before really getting into CrossFit. Glenn has been at it for arguably longer than anyone else at CFNC and we’re glad to have him as part of our community!

What makes you, you?

Being able to workout with my Fiancé everyday and compete against her in workouts. I also enjoy competing and cheering on the other athletes at the box.

Describe your experience at CFNC.

My experience at CFNC has been great, we have met new people and new friends! I am definitely heading in the right direction by getting stronger and fitter.

What are your major life goals?

My major life goal is to be able to live comfortably without a worry in the world and travel as much as possible.

What are your 3 major CrossFit goals?

600lb Deadlift

Perform well in an individual competition

Get my Level 1 sooner than later

What has been your favorite CrossFit moment so far?

My favorite moment so far has been competing at Regionals in 2011 and 2012

What has been your favorite CrossFit WOD and why?

“Grace” No particular reason

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Still doing CrossFit and continually getting stronger

What is the most challenging aspect of CrossFit?

The most challenging aspect is having patience because not everyday is going to be a great day in the gym

Never Give up all the skills come with time and practice
