Congrats to Race Jones for being our February athlete of the month! He is a staple at our 6am class and can mostly be found at the top of any running or cardio heavy workout! We are fortunate to have him in our community, you can learn a little more about him below;

What makes you, you?
I like enjoy spending time with family, traveling, fishing, and surfing.

Describe your experience at CFNC.
CFNC has been a great place to build my fitness and grow with a great community.

What are your major life goals?
I would like to own my general contracting business.

What are your 3 major CrossFit goals?
I would like to increase my weight lifting strengths.

What has been your favorite CrossFit WOD and why?
The fittest of the coast workout with the clean squats followed by burpee bar overs.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years I see myself living in Charleston and traveling more to surf and fish.

What is your favorite cheat meal?
Big Ole Burger

What is the most challenging aspect of CrossFit?
I think the most challenging aspect of CrossFit is learning to pace yourself, controlling your form, and trying to compete against other athletes all at the same time.

What advice would you give to someone new to CrossFit?
Pace yourself and focus on the fundamentals first
