Congrats to Mikhayla for being our March athlete of the month! A staple at the noon class she has grown so much since joining and her progress hasn’t gone unnoticed!

What makes you, you?

I enjoy music and working outdoors.

Describe your experience at CFNC.

Everyone is super nice and supportive.

What are your major life goals?

Major goals for me are to grow in my career.

What are your 3 major CrossFit goals?

I want to be able to do pullups and proper pushups, and I’d also like to increase my squat and deadlift weights.

What has been your favorite CrossFit moment so far?

I did my heaviest squat the other day which was exciting. Every class has good moments though!

What has been your favorite CrossFit WOD and why?

I can’t remember a specific WOD that was my favorite, but I enjoy workouts that involve rowing (anything but the bike lol).

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I will be considered an Environmental Professional at work and hopefully a Professional Geologist. Ideally I will still be in Charleston.

Share a recipe for a favorite clean meal.

I really like making a salad with sliced beets and a vinaigrette.

What is your favorite cheat meal?


What is the most challenging aspect of CrossFit?

Not having the strength to RX parts of the workout.

What advice would you give to someone new to CrossFit?

Don’t be scared to start; I wish I would have started sooner.

What is your personal ‘walkout song’ or anthem?

This is the hardest question! I don’t think I can come up with one.
