What makes you, you?
I would say my combination of being competitive but also making sure i’m having fun. i think that’s a balance that i’ve learned over the years
Describe your experience at CFNC.
i’ve loved getting to know everyone. the circus (craig, david, and i) always have a good time and they push me to be better. all of the trainers have been great at pushing me to goals i never thought i’d reach this quickly
What are your major life goals?
these constantly change as my interests change, but near term, im working on getting my pilots license
What are your 3 major CrossFit goals?
1. compete in a competition
2. push myself with cardio more
3. be able to do crossfit movements that i’ve never trained for in the past (hand stand push ups, doubles, etc)
What has been your favorite CrossFit moment so far?
i love working out on saturdays in the morning. the group is fun and always challenges me. i cleaned heavier weight one WOD on a saturday and i just remember the whole gym cheering me on. that was a cool moment that pushed me to the finish line
What has been your favorite CrossFit WOD and why?
i love workouts with pull ups so anything with that or the partner ones
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
id like to eventually end up living in a house on the water with a boat. everything else is flexible, but that’s what i’m hoping my future looks like
Share a recipe for a favorite clean meal.
What is your favorite cheat meal?
mexican food, love me chips and queso, fajitas, and a good marg
What is the most challenging aspect of CrossFit?
learning the new movements that your body doesn’t do naturally, but open gym is super helpful to work on technique
What advice would you give to someone new to CrossFit?
join. the hardest part is starting. everything else is fun with this group. everyone is at a different level but super encouraging
What is your personal ‘walkout song’ or anthem?
savage-whethan was my goal song in college
